The brief was to design a contemporary office pod for an unused corner of a back garden in East Keswick, Leeds. The solution is a bespoke office pod, that follows the line of the boundaries and is sited around an existing mature scots pine tree and a pergola.
A horizontal slot window frames a garden view of ferns and glazed French doors open out onto a limestone patio. Internally there are generous desks for 2 people. Lighting has been carefully designed and built in storage areas created. The pod is of timber frame construction and clad with a composite system, which is maintenance free.
A serene garden workplace has been created, a quiet haven away from the bustle of the family home.
