This project created an accessible family home in rural greenbelt near Keighley. The house was sited in a farmstead, in close proximately to a Grade II listed farm house. The client required a new build accessible dwelling which was to replace an existing stable block in a farmstead.The design sits harmoniously within the rural setting.
The design replicated the form of the existing stable block in stone with the addition of contemporary angular metal clad extrusions. The house is single storey and height was created internally by using imaginative interventions in the roof form.
